Evaluator Interest Form

The Society for Science is currently recruiting premier scientists to serve as Evaluators for the Regeneron Science Talent Search, the nation's oldest and most prestigious science research competition for high school seniors.

Evaluators have the privilege and great responsibility of reviewing application packages and cutting-edge research submitted by the nation’s brightest high school students. Using criteria set by the Society for Science, Evaluators will consider each entrant’s original research paper, personal essays, activities, transcripts and all components of the application package to narrow down the entry pool for award consideration in this holistic review process.

The Evaluation period takes place from DATES HERE. Evaluators, who must have a terminal degree (PhD, MD or DVM), will review approximately 40-60 entries, a time commitment of approximately 20-30 total hours, and sign a code of ethics and confidentiality agreement. This volunteer role is acknowledged with a small financial token of appreciation and an invitation to the Regeneron STS Awards Gala. For more information about the requirements and process, please visit this webpage.

Please complete the survey below to register your interest in this opportunity. Invitations to selected candidates will be emailed in early fall. DO NOT FORWARD this survey - we have carefully selected potential candidates and may not offer an invitation to all who respond. We welcome recommendations of colleagues or others in your network who might be a great fit at the email address below.

Regeneron STS is committed to building an evaluator pool that reflects the diversity of its applicants. For any questions related to this survey or to Regeneron STS, please contact us at sts@societyforscience.org
